Acknowledge or perish

The vastness and the diversity of nature cannot be explained by way of words. From millions of years ago, we have been continuously working to explore the secrets of nature. We have discovered some and still many are hidden deep. And yet we think we can control nature and manipulate it without consequences.

Nature as a whole is a larger consciousness. Our individual consciousness has taken birth from this larger consciousness. So we are all children of the nature. Hence we have that rebelling nature against our parent. Our parent has been existing from a long time right from when the Big Bang happened and has been continuously evolving to nurture different kinds of species/children and has a very complex system of maintaining a balance within the eco system. Fortunately, our species of children have evolved slightly differently from others and have developed intellect. But unfortunately the same intellect has formed in us an ego, a sense of false pride as a superior species and hence even capable of questioning and even destroying our parent. The 'I' factor has been continuously increasing so much that we have created a virtual world among ourselves telling that we are in control.

But the truth is different. The nature existed even before us and will last even after us. It is so complex that it can contain and sustain so many species of life living together in an ecosystem. The amount of knowledge the nature has is just incomprehensible by our brain made up of flesh and bone. Many children who were really big and strong in the past have tried their hand to dominate the nature without success. But still we think we are better than any of them because of our intellect. But what we must understand is that a subset of nature can never be greater than the set itself. We can all tell ourselves that we have developed to the extent of travelling to space and walking on other satellites and planets other than earth. But we need to realise that even other planets and the universe itself is a subset of nature. We really don't know what is the driving force behind it. We are not aware of the intelligence behind it. But yet we give up to our ignorance and take shelter behind our false ego.

We really don't know what the nature is capable of, we have seen some of its awe in the past and are presently seeing it. We survive because of the complex ecosystem created by the nature. All the species are important no matter how small they are to maintain an overall balance. Its time that we humble ourselves, reduce our ego, acknowledge our position and start living in harmony with the other species, else we will perish.
